agreed. dave and willie have been friends for quite some time. dave is a hugee willie fan, and there was something on tv a while ago, of dave hanging with willie on willies tour bus adn dave just...not being able to comprehend that he was sitting there with one of his....idols. it was neet ;D
With Willie playing on the 14th (Saturday) it makes me wonder who will headline. I am thinking Willie might be a co-headliner that day, so if thats a case who will headline? Zep? DMB? PJ? I can't think of many that he could follow.Also, the band who headlines /Sat is the biggesr draw of the fest. Food for thought.

Just the though excites me ;D. I keep thinking of the farmaid experience I had this year, and the fact that all those guys are friends..and who willie could potentially bring with him.. AHhHhHh

Awesome find, and it's about time!
But to echo what others have said, I see no reason that Willie wouldn't play the same slot he was supposed to in '04: pre-headliner on the main stage. But you're right, Jay, it probably says a lot about who will be headlining that night... but what is it saying exactly?
Awww Willie. A true patriot. Even if the man's voice isn't what it used to be, it's always a treat to see him. And what is this about Pearl Jam? More PJ rumors this year?
this is very exciting I've always wanted to see the red headed stranger in person. and whle were talking about Willie jamming wiht people there is a sweet version of "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" with Willie, Ben Harper on slide and Jack Johnson on the Ukele(sp?)

According to your post (and Pollstar) Willie is on fri the 13th.
