I haven't read Rolling Stone recently, but they may have been referring to the three songs that Beck produced for the White Stripes. He also sings backup, plays piano and provides hand claps. The three songs are called "It's My Fault for Being Famous", "Cash Grab Complications on the Matter" and "Honey, We Can't Afford to Look This Cheap" and are on the single for the song "Conquest". They were recorded in Beck's living room. You can buy all of them on iTunes or if you're into vinyl, there are three different versions of the single with a different new song as a b-side. The White Stripes + Beck = Pure genius.
As for my favorite Beck album, I'm going to go with Guero.
Ya, I love all the songs off the ep..... They are all wonderful... my fav is It's My Fault for Being Famous... That song is genius! I want the vinyls! I will prolly be buying those this week... We love us some vinyl!

The thread above this one is about a dream someone had about Korn. I looked at this thread and it reminded me I had a dream about The White Stripes! Not making this up!
I was watching TV, I think it was Conan O'Brien, and they were showing archival footage of a "vintage" White Stripes performance. It was supposed to be from an earlier phase of the band, I guess. Well Conan introduces the band, the camera zooms over, and the first thing you see is Jack dressed head-to-toe like a 20's-era flapper girl. The audience laughs. He doesn't have his guitar, but it just singing. Then you notice Meg behind him, dressed similarly, and not playing the drums but the violin. They are also surrounded (not backed, but surrounded) by a full band that included a drummer and two pianists. The song began with Meg soloing on the violin, which wasn't too bad except her tone kept going off. And that's all I remember. I realize now it's not a very interesting dream, but since I already typed it all up, I'm gonna post it anyway! ;D

that's what was said that meg was suffering from traveling anxiety. however it seems very strange to me as they have been touring for years and now she suffers anxiety. i think it was possibly a polite way of saying jack and meg had falling out. after all they were married and now divorced but remained best of friends. we shall see i hope they return jack always said that without meg there is no white stripes.
