so i was just reading my new copy of rolling stone and noticed that the stripes have been writing a couple songs with beck. i love the both of them and can't wait to hear the material.
by the way it may be to soon to bring beck back but since jack and meg aren't going to be playing together for a while i could see beck coming back and having jack come out to play with him. plus the raconteurs have a new record coming so maybe they could bring beck out with them. who knows i'm just excited!

i definitely think the raconteurs will be there...just out of curiousity, anyone suprised that jack white didn't play with anyone else at last year's roo?
I would absolutely love to see The Raconteurs there. I also think it's a good possibility. They have been saying they have new material for a new record for over a year now.

The Raconteurs are currently recording their next album which is due to come out in the Spring, so I think Roo is a pretty good bet for them. Wouldn't get my hopes too high on Beck showing up, but I suppose it's possible.

depends on my mood sad- sea change drunk-mellow gold funky-midnight vultures and the rest of the records i could spin at anytime but that's my top three in no particular order
I haven't read Rolling Stone recently, but they may have been referring to the three songs that Beck produced for the White Stripes. He also sings backup, plays piano and provides hand claps. The three songs are called "It's My Fault for Being Famous", "Cash Grab Complications on the Matter" and "Honey, We Can't Afford to Look This Cheap" and are on the single for the song "Conquest". They were recorded in Beck's living room. You can buy all of them on iTunes or if you're into vinyl, there are three different versions of the single with a different new song as a b-side. The White Stripes + Beck = Pure genius.
As for my favorite Beck album, I'm going to go with Guero.
