Ok... I am at home now... Here is the convo (if anybody cares)
Me: Hi there, You all said the other day that the Bonnaroo 2008 lineup would be announced today. I am just wondering if I missed it?
I have also read in several places that you all are doing this to gain listeners. If this is true, say goodbye to a LONG time fan of your station.

Matt: JM believe me this was not an attempt to gain or provoke listeners. There have been some developments in the local radio community lately that have delayed the announcement.
99X is evolving into a digitally exclusive radio station late next week and Q100 will be taking over it's current signal. You'll still be able to listen to 99X on 99.7HD and at 99X.com.
Q100's former frequency 100.5 will become a completely new radio station and I believe once that takes place the bonnaroo announcement will be made. I apologize for the delay and please understand that this wasn't some poorly executed marketing tactic but a casualty of timing.

So, The question is: Do they have it!? I'll bet not, however the first reply indicated they did... (kind of)
Bottom line is we will get the lineup late next week and I can't F&*King wait!

If you've got it, flaunt it. People are excitedly waiting, and are trying to be patient, but with conflicting info regarding when you will announce it, and if you even have it, patience has been worn out. Please sh!t or get off the pot.

So... I have been hearing a lot of talk about you guys having the bonnaroo lineup. It's been said you were going to announce it monday, wednesday and today but nothing happened. I am starting to get skeptical about this whole deal... Why did you all say you would announce it and then back out? Whats going on here?

Seems like they wouldn't have the whole lineup, just a little "presser" if anything.
Also noticed some heavy hinting at a Zepp gig from the 99x dudes. At this point I'm pretty sure thats whats going on this year.
Almost like they have the presser, it says the blub on it like: and at bonnaroo this summer, LZ, willie nelson, and bbking... or whatever, and they just can't broadcast it anymore... maybe plans changed, etc. And now they just can't keep from mentioning "Zepp"... But they must phrase it like "big rumor is" just to cover their own hides... but they are slipping it in these emails to these big music fans, bc, you know, they think us rooers are cool!
all this stuff, so reminicent of the police hoopla b.s. this time last year, you know?
I will be the most surprised person on this earth if Zeppelin ISN'T there. Every indication points to that being the case. It's too difficult to keep a lid on something like that.
Just because this guy @99x says Zep is the rumor does not mean he knows anything. He most likely was looking at this board or googled Bonnaroo 08 lineup and that was the first result. I hope I am wrong
yeah matt runs organic x (stuff a bit more geared toward bonnaroo-goers). if anyone would be more likely to have the lineup, or know something more about it, its him. flood both their boxes!!!
someone needs to get job with superfly on this board and then leak lineup to us....wait...that might take to long and the line up will have already been announced...NM

i just sent another email from a remote email address that i don't use anymore... i just reworded Alyroo's email and added alot more... which i think everyone should do...

people already come from overseas to join the boner-zoo.
Now i know why they call their marketing company BIG HASSLE. because it's a Big Hassle to keep the lineups and information out of our greedy little hands... :-)

i got the same email......hmmm, LAZY.....i dont think they have it and they are just praying off of superfly and will post it once superfly puts it up......LAME
