I just went over to this Royal-Orleans.com website to see if they had any info but the only thing I could find was someone with 6 posts who claimed he was in Japan who confirmed that he is currently in Japan and has been shopping for music.
It's almost 9:30 Monday morning in Japan, I demand information.
Apparently, someone on the Royal-Orleans board called the hotel and said this "They said the Press Conference will be at 10pm Tokyo time (8am EST) but refused to divulge any further details." Looks like I will be looking into this tomorrow morning since it is only 10 am there.

I called the hotel and they directed me to Warner Music Japan. They said the Press Conference will be at 10pm Tokyo time (8am EST) but refused to divulge any further details.

I'm thinking more strongly that even if Page announces a Zep tour that they still won't be at Bonnaroo. For one, it'll take a lot of time to get it set up and going, assuming they haven't done any preparing yet (which some evidence suggests). But mainly I'm thinking of Plant. He's said more than once that he's focused on his tour with Krauss right now, and I wouldn't expect him to do anything with Zep until that's finished, which it won't be until July (is that right?). So that would mean it wouldn't be until July that they'd even got together for rehearsals and stuff, which would mean the tour probably wouldn't begin until at least the fall, perhaps even the winter. Still good reason to look towards '09, but I'm increasingly pessimistic about '08.
i started a thread, which can prob be locked. and i'll prob lose more karma cause i'm such a n00b. but looks like a world tour after krauss and plant get things done.

Jimmy Page has finally revealed that Led Zeppelin are planning a reunion tour in the near future - but warned fans not to expect anything too soon.
Singer Robert Plant recently released an album with Alison Krauss, and Guitarist Page says he feels the band are ready to hit the road this year, but wont be seeing action until Plant's promotional duties on his own album are complete.
"I can assure you the amount of work that we put into the O2 (concert), for ourselves rehearsing and the staging of it, was probably what you put into a world tour," Page told press in Tokyo.
"Robert Plant also had a parallel project running and he's really busy with that project, certainly until September, so I can't give you any news."
The three surviving members of the legendary rock group - Page, Plant and bassist-keyboardist John Paul Jones - reformed for a triumphant benefit show at the O2 Arena last year, and Page adds that the show proved to each of the band members that a tour could still work.
"It was exhilarating, fantastic, every week was a week to look forward to," he added. "We did the show and it was great. That is what was so thrilling really -- to come together after all this time and find that there was so much chemistry and so much electricity involved in these four characters."
Of course based on what Page says about it not happening soon... yeah, Bonnaroo '08 is almost definitely out. But I think Bonnaroo '09 is absolutely doable-- in fact I'd expect it!
