I think you've already made my day and it just started here in the central time zone. I'm glad no one was hurt though. Isn't she Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter? {Insert Achey Breaky Heart/Mullet joke here}

i can't for the life of me think why. i mean, i understand that every so often some pop singer comes along and everyone is into them, but this is just OBSESSION. and she's not even that good. and what's with girls having stupid names like hannah montana? just use your own!!!

In her defense, she's better than most of the teeny pop singers out there today. Sure, that isn't saying much, but at least it's something. My sister is obsessed with her.
I haven't heard much of her music, but I have heard her live interviews and for a 16-year old pop phenom, she seems to be articulate, semi-human and with a bit of brain and heart. Better the kiddies obsess over someone like she than Brit Brit!

or little Brit....
I havn't heard her music or any live interviews, so I can't really say anything, but I'm all for having someone who little kids can look up to.

Someone wanted to Achey Break his daughter *Groan*
You know she uses a double during her concert, so she can take a little break. I agree that it is a frightening phenomenon. Ugh, can you picture all the tweens in their Hannah Montana garb marching through the Roo dust cloud for towards the main stage... *shudder*
^you're right... she does have a body double... but i wouldnt necessarily call it "taking a little break". The body is only on stage for about 3 minutes while she does a quick costume change... not saying she should have a body double, but it's not as if she's sitting backstage for half the show.
ugh. why are the costume changes necessary. come on. when i saw prince, he spent most of the time back stage changing. no one cares about your stupid clothes. everyone's there for the music.
anywho. if i was gonna "go" and take some others with me, it certainly wouldn't be at a hannah montana concert. that's just embarrassing.
OKay, so I went to her concert. NOT for me but for my daughter. We had very good seats which I bought thru ticketmaster not ebay or scalpers. I would never, ever pay what some people are paying to see this girl.
When she does costume changes its mostly for the change from Hannah to Miley. She didn't use a double at the show we were at, she just had her girls do a little ditty.
Now my review of her show... great for little girls... awful for me. It was great to see my daughter enjoy herself so much though. Watching her look around at the huge crowd and all the glowsticks and such was cool. I kept thinking this is just the beginning for you girly!! Hopefully the next show I take my kids to (I have a son who had no interest in seeing Hannah) will be less teeny bopper.

bring them to roo! seriously though i dont know exactly how good/bad of an environment roo actually is for kids but if i was there and "off in my won little world" and saw a bunch of kids running around enjoying themselves i would be ecstatic. kids are great

My kids would love to come to roo with us. However, roo is for my husband and me. It is our only vacation away from them and we rather enjoy it. They are 11 and 8 so I think my 11yr old might see some things I wouldn't want him to see. It's an age where he is asking alot of questions and hearing things from friends about sex, drugs etc... So for now we'll just keep sending them off to grandmas.
I too like seeing kids there though! Its great to see kids dancing to the tunes.

i THINK it's when she goes from being "Hannah Montana" to "Miley Cyrus"... so little kids can know the difference.
