am i the ONLY one who thinks this would be a weird pick for Bonnaroo? maybe i'm just too much of a hippie for my own good, but he is the LAST PERSON ON EARTH that i would want to see live at a festival like Roo.
i've never been into his music, or his evil/anti-christ schtick. i don't care if the show itself is good, i think he gives off all kinds of bad energy.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
A friend told me he is not allowed back in the state of Tennessee, so that would make playing roo a bit difficult. Not sure if that is true, anyone else know?

i havent listened to manson in a long time and even when i did he wasnt my favorite artist but i wouldnt be opposed to having him at roo either. as long as he sang beautiful people.
seen him twice once in the antichrist superstar era which i think is his best and once during the mechanical animals period. his stage show was amazing both times he has the greatest presence

maybe its just me...
You are dead-on w/ the bad vibes...his entire persona clashes w/ the feel I get when I'm at 'Roo and that's no good. I'm not saying he's a bad musician, because I've never seen him in concert, but the farm is not the place for his act.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
Saw him a few months ago and it sure wasn't good. He really needs to change his act cause he's becoming a parody of himself. The only way I'd dig him at Roo would be with a spoken word performance on the Sonic stage, that could be interesting cause he's actually a smart and funny dude.
