i unfortunately spent way too many hours at what stage from beck to radiohead way up close so when the superjam rolled around all I could manage was getting back to my tent.
absolutely did not pass up the phil grab summer tour to try and make up for it.

i was at the 06 superjam, but my friend and i used it as a time to lay out on the grass a little ways out from the crowd, and wind down from the day. it was still a lot of fun!!

Did y'all really dig it? I only caught a bit and liked what I heard, but I've heard others who were at the whole thing say it sucked. Just curious.
i had alot of fun at it, but i think it was just the 'mood' i was in . and i dunno we had a great spot..it was a good time one of the better times ive ever had at a roo

I was right up front because I already knew who was going to be there thanks to a short lived accident by AT&T Blueroom. They posted who was going to be at superjam on their website for a couple hours the night before I left for Roo. When we arrived at the tent early that night the rumors were confirmed when we saw Trey's unmistakable Paul Languedoc guitar on stage. ELATED!

I was at the whole thing and thought it was awesome. Phil coming out to jam with them only topped it for me. I had more fun in 06' then this year's superjam. Whoever made the decision to put that show in the smallest tent should be fired. It was easily the most packed tent show I have EVER saw at Bonnaroo.

I was at the 07 SuperJam, really close, too. We were sitting for the first hour before the show, and when it started we stood up, got closer, all that shiz.
The third guy we were with wanted to sit down again, about two songs in. We ended up by the disco tent, it was so filled, before we sat down. You could barely see them. I really wanted to see Ben Harper and JPJ up close. Alas, that's the last time we will be going with that gentleman.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

my biggest disappointment last year was that superjam was up against string cheese. this is exactly the reason i think they should move superjam in the headlining spot. or even in sunday's headliner spot. if the superjam is really supposed to be "super" why not save it for the very last show. that way those who don't want to see it can leave or whatever. if you want to stick it out, you can.
and another thing. anyone ever hear that during sunday's headliner they let anyone go up on the side of the stage. i went with a group of like 10 or so people last year, and this one guy, who has been to every roo, said every sunday they let anyone get up and stand on the side of the stage. can anyone confirm this?

was there a superjam in 05? that was my first roo and i cannot remember who or if there was one...
The 05' superjam was on sunday afternoon before the headliner on the Which Stage??I think maybe a tent. It was also during The Word. I believe it was Herbie Hancock and Pino Palidino and someone else that I can't remember at this moment.
