Does anyone think MIckey Hart in some form could be at roo? whether it be planet drum, rhythm devils, or mickey and friends they would all be sick late night sets that could keep you dancing all night long? plus they always have a dead related band there and idk if ratdog will be back. I do think Phil will be playing becuz his new band is on fire but still if mickey is there with his band that means we could get kimock, george porter, or mike gordon and those would all be welcome additions to the lineup imo

If they keep with tradition, there will be some form or former members of the Grateful Dead there this year. It appears that this year would be Phil's time to return, which is what I'm really hoping for. They've never had Mickey's band play, I don't think he toured this past year, but I think he might have played 10,000 Lakes a couple years ago. And I've never seen or listened to Mickey's band, I don't even know the name of it or who's in it, but of course I'd be down for it. I really don't want the only Dead we here this year to be Dark Star Orchestra, but I could live with it. If I remember correctly, Steve Kimock and George Porter Jr. are playing in Mickey's band at Wakarusa this year, and I think most of us know who Steve Kimock is. I don't know who George Porter Jr. is but I've never seen Kimock and I think this lineup would be pretty sweet.
