My friends in Chicago got me into them last month. Theyre far from what I expected and far from bad. I definitily plan on seeing them. But if lets say Cat Power was playing at the same time, Id miss them.
That was one of the first things I noticed when I saw the lineup. They play back in your head on XM ethel 47 all the time and I love that song now. Ive been listening to the rest of their stuff of late and its pretty cool. Im pretty excited to see them.

Yeah back in your head is a good song... Actually, Tiesto made a good remix of it... check it out www.myspace.com/tiesto (I am assuming it is still offered on there... I am at work and MS is block ). And thats assuming you like dance music. Check out the so jealous cd too! :-)

Those girls sure know how to write a catchy ditty. I saw some of their live DVD, and they seemed really tight. If there's no conflicts, I definitely plan on checking them out.
Also, if you haven't heard it, check out "Borne On The FM Waves of the Heart" by Against Me!. Tegan duets with Tom Gabel on the track. I'm really hoping for a collaboration at Roo!

tegan and sara have been my favorite group for a long time. they are the only music act that i own every single song they ever did. i will be front and center for this show.

I don't really like Tegan and Sara all that much except for the Tiesto remix of that one song. So good. Maybe they should just turn their whole catalog into trance.

i LOVE Tegan and Sara- they are so much fun live. The witty banter definitely makes the show.
I have all their albums, but some of the best songs (I think) are: Monday Monday Monday My Number Terrible Storm This Is Everything Dark Come Soon
Overall I agree that If It Was You is one of the best albums. I actually really like The Con. When I saw them last summer, it was right before The Con came out, and they played the whole album back to front. It was amazing.

Does anyone else think that particular song is very "New Pornographers-esque"? Not that that's a bad thing...
