so ive been to roo the last 4 years this will be my fifth and nothing like this has happened, but do you think that superfly would put someone on the lineup like metallica, for the sake of covering up zepplin being thereand at the last minute they take metallica off and replace with led zepp, the lineup rules and all just there are too many headliners i think, and something just isnt right about it.

No chance. Metallica would not be used as a decoy-- no band would agree to that kind of thing, let alone one with such a big ego. Metallica is here to stay, but you might say there's still a chance to see Zep.

I just posted something similar in the "who are the headliners" thread...my thoughts exactly. this will be my 4th roo and something seems very odd. Past line up rules would say that it's pearl jam/metallica/jack johnson something doesn't let me believe pearl jam will play two nights, it doesn't fit the formula...although I wouldn't put it past them with how sneaky they are being this year. It also doesn't fit that they would announce a new headliner later on.....but then again the whole clue thing, bands that are on the line up, no official headliners is odd. I'm totally lost.

No...there's a live interview done by 'Roo w/ Lars on Metallica's website. No way to they put that much effort into something that's just a distraction.
