Hello everyone, long time lurker first time poster!
I have been to 2 roo's so far ('05 and '07) and I have to say I have not been more excited about a headliner than I am about Pearl Jam. Last year I completely skipped the Police to get up front for the Lips. This year, however, I do not think I will be skipping Saturday's late night (assuming thats the slot Pearl Jam is playing).
Who else is as excited as I am to catch Pearl Jam this year?

Pearl Jam is going to melt our faces in the greatest Bonnaroo performance of all time. And I'm really not even worried about this being true. It will be unfuckingbelievable. And don't worry about them not fulfilling their set time. Worry about them bleeding into the late night haha.
I hope vedder climbs a speaker tower and stage dives into the crowd...he definitely has become timid since his early 90's glory years. Nevertheless, PJ is def. going to be a show for the ages. SOOOOO stoked to see them!
I've been wanting to go to Roo for years but have been a poor college student. This is my first year graduated from college, and my favorite band is headlining. Saweeeeeeeeeeeeet.
I saw Pearl Jam last year at Lollapalooza and I remember thinking to myself, "They'd be great for 'Roo!" Well, my wish has been granted! They put on such a great live show and it will not disappoint.

What he said. Seen them three times, and all three shows were played as if they were the last shows they would ever do. epic. and always a great mix of the songs that made them famous and b-sides/rarer cuts.
I saw them in Boston a few years ago and they rocked. Eddie drank like 2 full bottles of wine to himself onstage during their set. Needless to say he was a little tipsy towards the end of that show! Good times !

Pearl Jam headlining is a dream come true... too F-ing perfect. I'm stoked. I've seen them four times, and everytime I've left feeling like it was the best show I've ever seen.
pearl jam headling roo is long overdue!! probably my biggest disappointment about last year's lineup was that the strong pearl jam rumor didn't pan out, so i was cautiously optimistic this year. expecting great things
Been a fan for years, can't wait to finally see a live performance. I could comortably close the entire weekend with a performance of yellow ledbetter. Let's hope for an awesome show.
Look at this link, I can see on my Flickr account who is looking at my pictures. So I clicked on this domain and found a PJ message board with my FAQ's that I have posted here on this site in "That Tent" It looks like someone copied and pasted my FAQ into their message board. I don't care too much about that. But read on.....It looks like after reading and looking at pictures they have no interest in Bonnaroo....I think its funny the posts that they have...

Ditto. I think PJ will rock the farm The main reason i'm still going. And i dont think that AC/Superfly will beef it totally. They will have Les out on the farm this year.
while i've been a pearl jam fan for 10+ years, i've never seen them live, i've had a few chances to see them, most recently in 06, i passed on them for a reason, i knew eventually they'd be at roo, i think its better when you see a band for the first time at a place like roo, some of the best shows i've ever seen have been at the farm, other first times seeing a band at roo include panic, trey, allman bros, mmj, theres a handful of others that i can't even think of right now, i'm very excited my first pearl jam show will be a roo, i wouldn't want it anywhere else
