Anybody think it's possible we'll get to see a Postal Service appearance at Bonnaroo? Maybe a secret show? After all, Ben Gibbard will be there with Death Cab, and Jenny Lewis is there with Rilo Kiley. What are the odds?
I wouldn't think it would happen. Something like that would have to be announced. They don't just have open slots for some people to do a collaboration. That being said I would freaking love love love love for the Postal Service to play.
my roo-mate is a lot more into dcfc and rk than i am n she said the possibilities were slim to none. we can still hope though. if tom morello can play the solo for lateralus, i think we can get a ben gibbard appearance during the rilo set this year!
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things

Maybe you're thinking of the guests Bright Eyes had? Gillian Welch, David Rawlings and Gruff Rhys. And I could definitely see Ben guesting with Rilo Kiley, as they had quite a few at their set in '05, like M. Ward.

That Bright Eyes show was incredible. Connor just kept bringing more and more people out. Jim James made an appearance that set, as well.
I would love to see the Postal Service at Bonnaroo. It would be great for Ben Gibbard to guest with Iron & Wine and Rilo Kiley, and vice versa. I love how all these bands are so intertwined, it's definitely conducive to the 'roo vibe!
