Hey guys I was wondering, based on experience with previous Bonnaroos, who will be playing the what or which stage and who will be in the that, this, and the other tents.
By the way, that sentence was extremely hard to write. Damn you Bonnaroo for making the stages and tents have confusing names!
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

Who's on first?
^My friends and I spent a lot of time doing that. "Who's at What stage?" "Which?" "No, what?" "You mean this one?" "No, not This, What!"
You can also have fun conversations involving the bands Yes, The Who, and The Band.
And now to actually answer your question...I have no idea. The biggest names will be at What Stage, the next level of sorts will play Which Stage, and then come That and This tents. But I don't know exactly how it will break down.

It is interesting to speculate on this, since you can't really base it all on billing or popularity. For instance, The Wild Magnolia Mardi Gras Indians playing the What Stage last year.
I'll make projections nonetheless:
What: Peral Jam, Metallica, Phil Lesh, Jack Johnson, ABB, Yonder, Willie, Plant/Krauss, Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet
Which: DCFC, Kanye, BB King, The Raconteurs, Ben Folds, MIA, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi, Ozomatli, Orchestra Baobab

Here’s what I’m speculating:
What Stage Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson, Plant and Krauss, My Morning Jacket, Allman Brothers, Raconteurs, BB King, Trucks and Tedeschi, Robert Randolph, Phil Lesh Acoustic Set, Orchestra Baobab
Which Stage Kanye West, Willie Nelson, Death Cab for Cutie, Levon Helm, Ben Folds, Bluegrass Allstars, MIA, Yonder Mountain. Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, Ozomatli, Israel Vibration, Aimee Mann, Orchestra Baobab, Little Feat
Which Stage Latenights Kanye West, Phil Lesh and Friends
Tents OAR, Iron and Wine, Swell Season, Talib Kweli, Gogol Bordello, Broken Social Scene, Rilo Kiley, Mastodon, Against Me!, Sharon Jones, Pat Green, Tegan and Sara, Solomon Burke, Drive-By Truckers, !!!, Avett Brothers, Abigail Washburn, Aimee Mann, Fiery Furnaces, Jose Gonzalez, Dark Star Orchestra, Minus the Bear, Donavon Frankenreiter, Lez Zeppelin, State Radio, Battles, Jakob Dylan, Two Gallants, The Sword, Vampire Weekend, Nicole Atkins, Felice Brothers, Mason Jennings, MGMT, Lee Boys, Black Kids, Serena Ryder, Steel Train, Grupo Fantasma, Back Door Slam
No way Sigur Ros gets a tent. Late night Which Stage.
Tent could work for Sigur Ros... i mean, superjams are often times stuck in The Other Tent... and This Tent is always packed out late night... so i wouldn't put it past them... although i'd rather like to lay down at the which stage by a tree and space out to Sigur Ros...
I've got a feeling that MMJ has a pre headliner slot... which hopefully would put Allman Brothers on Which Stage late night Sat.... Sigur Ros is almost definitely a late night tent act... BB King I could possibly see as an early afternoon What Stage show...

I really really want MMJ late night Which Stage. Like the FLips last year. And for Sigur Ros i would love to see them either late night which stage or late night tent. Either one suits me, i'll be first row anyways ;D

It doesnt sound like ANYONE wants MMJ on the What stage during the day so maybe they will realize that. I also agree that Sigur Ros should have a late night Tent, just not the same time as MMJ.

After listening to MIA, I really hope she's a tent act. She doesn't seem like she would translate to the heat of the Which stage. I'd much prefer to dance my ass off in a tent like I did for Gogol Bordello and the Hold Steady last year. Which stage was perfect for Death Cab in 06. Hoping against an "upgrade" to What this year. The Possiblity of MMJ, Sigur Ros and Kanye has me freaking out.
Anyone see David Cross last year. One of the highlights of his set for me was when he talked about the names of the stages and how it's funny for about 3 seconds.

Gogol Bordello needs a late night tent. I am not sure which one though. I never remember which is what, was it this tent or that tent or the other tent. So confusing especially with party favors.

I find it funny and sad that people act like they can't remember the stage names and where they're at. It's just about as simple as breathing. What Stage is the biggest, it's the stage with the green bonnaroo on top. Which is the one with the red curtains, it actually says which in yellow on top. This tent is next to the fountain, That tent has a big ass sign at the top that says it and the Other tent is the smaller one in the corner. The first time I went to Bonnaroo was in 2005, and I knew which stages were where after looking at the map for maybe a minute. And the whole what, which, where, this, the abbot and costello routine was funny for less than a second, now its just annoying.

One late night on the Which should be MMJ......next night should be Allmens or a superjam with Phil lesh and friends......tents should be Sigur Rios'- ghostland ( please )
Based on bands from the top of the lineup that are reporting the day they'll be playing, a few guesses on those who aren't (indicated with a ?), an assumption that one or two top-tier bands will be added ("TBD"), and the recent scheduling trends, my best guess is this:
Friday What-Metallica, Chris Rock, Willie Nelson Which-Kanye/Lupe/Talib (?) (late night), Raconteurs , Ben Folds/TDB (?) This Tent (late night) - Phil Lesh and Friends (?) (Bluegrass All-stars headline the other tent)
Saturday What- Pearl Jam, Allman Brothers, MIA Which- Sigur Ros (late night), Death Cab (?), Ben Folds/TBD (?) This Tent (late night) - Levon Helm (BB King headlines the other tent)
Sunday What - Jack Johnson, Plant/Krauss, OAR Which- MMJ (?), Ben Folds/TBD (?)
