Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Here's some videos of songs that are pretty common and are likely to be played at Bonnaroo. These are songs that span their entire career, but I intentionally picked versions from shows very recently. All of them are live videos.
I've seen them 3 times now without seeing Rearviewmirror, Porch or Yellow Ledbetter, so I really hope they play some of those.
I've also like to hear Off He Goes
I think there's a good chance we could see an unplugged portion of Pearl Jam's set and some guests on stage with them. There's no way they could be around that many other musicians and not take advantage of it.

My favorite: Wishlist
Saw them play it in Birmingham in 03 and it was so wonderful. They changed many of the lyrics to make them reference the south (ex. I wish I was the full moon shining off your tractor's hood).
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."

Oh, thanks so much for posting this! To be honest I know next to nothing about Pearl Jam, so I wanted to get at least somewhat acquainted before 'roo and I pretty much didn't know where to begin...this is perfect!!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
I have to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of most of the music from Ten. Partly because it's been so over played, partly because of all the crappy bands that ripped off Ten-era Pearl Jam and partly because the album kinda has the generic, angry young men, grunge rock feel to it. All that being said, Mike McCready is going to play one hell of a guitar solo during Even Flow (which will almost certainly be played) and Alive (which may or may not be played). If they play some stuff off Ten, I'm hoping to hear Oceans or Porch. Or maybe they'll open with Release. That would be amazing.
that's the beautiful part about Pearl Jam. You could hear pretty much any single song they have ever released on any given night. Some songs don't get played often, but they'll play almost everything at some point.
From Yield, we can expect to hear Do the Evolution and Given to Fly almost definitely, we'll probably hear Wishlist, there's a chance of hearing MFC, Low Light, Faithful and Brain of J. In Hiding isn't played often, but I have seen in played, so it's no impossible. Pilate never gets played and No Way hasn't been played since the Yield tour (and only 3 times or so on that tour).
If they do an acoustic portion to their set (which I think they might), they could play All Those Yesterdays.
That's impossible since the best song on Lost Dogs is clearly Don't Gimme No Lip. Who can resist Stone's voice? ;D
now I actually like Don't Gimme No Lip. I want to see Stone sing soooo badly.
the Sweet Lew thing was quite sarcastic as I think that may well be their worst song
I'd call Bee Girl their worst; Olympic Platinum is pretty awful too but at least it's funny as hell.
I agree that Ten is generally overplayed and overrated. Binaural and Riot Act, which everyone seems to think are their weakest albums, are by far my favorite in terms of live songs. I think Pearl Jam has steadily improved over the years. They seem less angry and more comfortable with themselves, Mike is still a demon on guitar and now they have Boom.

Those albums do have some great live songs. Grievance, Insignificance, Breakerfall, God's Dice, Love Boat Captain, Save You, I Am Mine, Can't Keep and Nothing As It Seems are all amazing live songs. I was never a fan of Light Years of Slight Of Hand, but I saw Pearl Jam play then in St Paul a couple of years ago and they were both incredible.
Their newest album sounds really good live, too. I've pretty much stopped listening to the actual CD and just listen to the bootleg of the Torino show where they played it in its entirety.
And Bee Girl is a pretty bad song. There's a few on Lost Dogs that are clearly b-sides for a reason. I believe Olympic Platinum is a cover. I'm hoping we can avoid hearing Last Kiss, but I kinda think they'll play it. So far I'm 3 for 3 as far as Pearl Jam not playing it at shows I've seen.
This may be old news, but Jambas just put up an article on a small, west coast solo Eddie tour.... any possibility we could see Eddie in a tent or something at Roo?

I just got teh Live at the Gorge collection today and it is a great place to start, especially if you're not very familiar with Pearl Jam's body of work. It's got stuff from all over and it will give you a good idea of how badass their show at Roo is gunna be!
