I saw this show yesterday at the TPAC and all I could think of was how funny would this be in a setting such as roo. They could easily have 2-3 performances a day, and I would definitely wait in line to see them live in the mindset I would be in. So who would be down if Superfly could set this up for a future roo, or have other plays that could fit roo well. Just a thought and would like to see your comments.
And remember, "Always look on the bright side of life!"
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
Totally! I got to see Spamalot in NYC a few years back when my sister moved there for college and the show is amazing! It's even more than just a musical version of "Holy Grail." It's comin' to Raleigh soon and I really wanna go!

I saw it opening night in Chicago and it is by far the best musical I've ever seen. I would definitely wait in line to see it at bonnaroo if they got the original cast with Hank Azaria, Tim Curry, and David Hyde Pierce back. So great seeing those guys on stage.
I have always thought Bonnaroo needs a MUSICAL THEATRE TENT !!!
Spamalot is a very BIG SHOW, They have alot of stage props... I think it would be very hard to pull it off, Even if they did 2 shows a day would it be worth the work... by that I mean the stagehands not the actors.
ALTAR BOYZ is simple enough a show . . .
Or if they would concider a BIG Show, they should bring back a show and do REEFER MADNESS THE MUSICAL, its a shame how it never made it on Broadway. It opened right around the time of 9-11 and died a quick death. I think the Rooers would love it.
I also heard on the radio that TRENT REZNOR is going to do the MUSICAL VERSION OF FIGHT CLUB for Broadway. That one would be quite a treat to see at Roo.
