Ok...so today they put up two new videos: 1. Phil Lesh interview 2. Lewis Black cartoon (Lewis Black Water Bottle Conspiracy)
One is gone now...from everywhere. The Lewis Black video news release is even in my RSS feed in Apple Mail but when I click on the link it says I don't have permission to view that area.
Think Lewis will be gracing us with his presence yet again this year?

I too noticed that the Lewis Black video was missing. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that they took it down after complaints about the amount of profanity it contained (pure speculation). Nonetheless, I hope he comes back. He seems to have had a good time last year, the incident aside.

Last year at Gov't Mule's show, Lewis Black made a special guest appearance. In the middle of a song he went on a rant about he was trying to sing a song that didn't have any words. In mid rant, someone threw a full bottle of water at him, striking him in the head. He proceeded to tear into whoever did it. The video outlines many "conspiracies" as to who actually threw it, and what their motivations were. It is totally satirical, and really funny . . . like Becca said, watch the video (if it's still up).

I really hope he doesn't come back. I saw him in '06 and '07 and he did basically the same act. Aziz Ansari was there both years and did completely different material both years, so it is possible. We need someone new to headline the comedy tent.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"

The bottle was empty...just for the record...watch again...if that thing was full he'd be unconscious...more and more I think that was exactly what was supposed to happen when he walked out there...watch the band...they don't really react...they just start laughing when he goes off....

ya that bottle was either empty or mostly empty... it bounced really easily... i don't think it was staged...
how are you gonna tell me that someone was planted in the crowd and threw an empty water bottle which is impossible to control tragectory(sp) with... and have it hit Lewis Black directly in the head...
the whole concept makes the video they posted even funnier... it's like all those stupid 9-11 conspiracy videos... that's what they were trying to poke fun at... i hope it wasn't Alex Jones who made Bonnaroo take the video down...

just to be a tid bit nit picky... it was actually the kennedy assassination they were really playing on. they made a reference to a grassy knoll, and the "magic bottle(bullet)" etc
warren haynes was so funny in that vid, i love his face whne he hits himself with the water bottle.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
I watched this video this mornign and it was hilarious, I have to get a copy some how. If anyone has it set to keep temporary internet files goto C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Temp and look for an files that say flaXXX.tmp that are from today. change the .tmp to .flv and they will play as normal. If anyone can find this video please share!
