Did anyone here catch Mute Math last year ? They played right before Clutch. I saw their video but had no clue how good their live show was. They had alot of killer drumming and an interesting instrument that the singer made. They did a really good job of setting the tone for the whole weekend. And we cant forget the naked guy who ran onstage and just danced around for a few mins. It would be great to see them this year

I'll agree. That was my first show of the weekend and it really started things off right. All except that guy that ran out naked on stage. Boy, he was hung like a tic-tac!
haha yea i was right up at the stage... that was frickin hillarious... the naked guy... but yea that show was the 4th time i had seen the with the first being at Bonnaroo the year before in the troo music lounge... They consistently but on a high energy kick ass show... if they were at roo this year it would make roo for me.
Yea i would be interested to see how they play with them... prob have to tone it down a little bit or else they would show up Matchbox haha... and cant have the opener show up the headliner

mute math is awesome. i have seen them 5 times, i think bonnaroo was the 4th and they have been great every time. i asked darren right before the linepu came out if they were going to be there and he said we would love to. but i think if they were going to be there, they would have been asked by then. they are recording the new album after the matchbox tour.
As great as Mute Math is, they will never upstage Matchbox as far as live shows go. Those boys are true professionals, with tons of experience. That tour is a powerhouse. I saw them in Charlotte last month. Gorgeous.

I think if i ate a ton of taco bell and put a harmonica in my ass I could upstage matchbox
ooh goodness how i love mute math. yeah, that was my first ever bonnaroo show. the sad thing, though, was that i wasn't as in to them then as i am now. however, i got a dvd of one of their live performances as well as their cd. and i watched them at voodoo. but, yeah, they are really good live. if you haven't checked out them performing "typical backwards on jimmy kimmel, you definitely should.
