YES! I've heard they are extraordinary live. This is one of those bands that is on the top of my "To See" list. If I could knock them and Gogol Bordello off in the same week I could die happy.
Oh my shit i'm listening to their myspace songs right now and this band is really good! they also have a handful of austin dates coming up! all sxsw related, i'm sure though, so it may be hard to get in!
great band, i saw them on their tour with Rock Plaza Central (!!!!) here in champaign, it was crazy there were like 4 people at the show. I couldnt believe it. Regardless both put on a great show.
Avett bros. along with, old crowe, dj kool, grace potter, spoon, feist and also lil jon (for some reason) are playing at vanderbilt that same weekend. so seeing that avett brothers are playing the roo and playing in nashville around that time o'death may still be a possibility.
