the former Pavement frontman just released a new cd... i havent heard it yet but heres the pitchfork review...

so many acts from 06 on the lineup it's hard to see them getting added. I love malkmus and his set at Roo. Saw him again at Langerado last year and his show was completely different, but I think I'd prefer Sonic YOuth again, personally.

Malkmus would be an awesome add. A Sleater-Kinney reunion as an added bonus would totally make this. Janet Weiss plays drums in The Jicks. I'm pretty sure that the rest of Sleater-Kinney still lives in Portland, same as Weiss and Malkmus.
