I agree that he'd be too big to get on the '08 lineup. But that would be an awesome show to see. I'd like to see that in the middle to late afternoon. Perhaps a guest spot by Chevy Chase on bass?
no way jack johnson out headline paul simon, seeing as how similar the vibe is. same goes for james taylor, who i saw mentioned somewhere on here. don't get me wrong, i think both of those guys are waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of JJ, but if JJ is headlining (which he is, apparently) no way can you add either of those 2 guys as an undercard. its like ben folds headlining with elton john or blliy joel in the afternoon, its just not happening. our "mellow dude w/ an acoustic guitar" spot is taken, so paul simon and JT are almost 100% "no" for 2008

paul simon could definitely play roo without being a headliner, if bob dylan can play bonnaroo not as a headliner, than anyone can, i say this about bob dylan because he's fucking bob dylan and basically the creator of folk music
