SuperJam™ is a range of no added sugar ‘super fruit’ spreads. These are made from the most nutritious fruits around; such as blueberries and cranberries and are sweetened with grape juice, rather than sugar or sweeteners.
The business is owned by eighteen year old entrepreneur Fraser Doherty and has won a number of prestigious awards and been the focus of a great deal of media coverage. The range has recently launched nationally in Waitrose and is proving to be highly popular with jam eaters all over the UK…
But really... Superjam is a Bonnaroo exclusive show that features many artists playing together in a "jam" format. It's traditionally one of the most popular sets of each year.

Jake Cinninger and Les Claypool leading a Metallica cover band! Oo, but seriously, how bout Dweezil leading a sweet Zappa tributesque band.
Isn't Zappa Playing Zappa already a "tributesque band"?
ZPZ just plays Zappa stuff. I mean a Zappa style band (big) and play some Zappa tunes and some jams. When i see a show zappa songs>beatles songs. I still doubt there will be a superjam though.
If there is a Superjam, I fully expect Eddie Vedder to be doing vocals for at least part of it and Mike McCready to join in for a while. I would also expect Robert Randolph, Jack White, Phil Lesh, BB King, Levon Helm and Derek Trucks to be involved in some capacity. If the Superjam is on Sunday, I would be willing to bet Robert Plant steps in on vocals. I also wouldn't be all that surprised if Willie Nelson were up there.
I also like the idea of a Clapton centric jam. Not only is it something I really want to see happen, but it also makes sense. A lot of the people that would most likely be involved with the Superjam have played with Clapton at some point in time.
After reading the first page I was starting to think no one would mention Ed being part of this. I can't believe some were choosing Hetfield over Vedder to sing in a Beatles themed Superjam.
If the Superjam will be fronted by an still unnamed guest, I would love for that guest to be Uncle Neil. Even with the clues, I'd be surprised if they would have Ringo there as the special guest.
Kirk's a fantastic soloist, and he could fit in a Beatles cover band... but, obviously, there are many more talented guitarists at Roo who would fill the void more efficiently. Haynes, King, James, White...
whoa whoa whoa.
Haynes, probably King, certainly James, maybe
Jack White, a more talented guitarist than Kirk Hammet?

I think not.
That's what I was thinkin'
Kirk is responsible for inspiring many of today's musicians to even pick up an instrument. He is easily one of the best metal guitarists of all time IMO. Jack White will have to wait another ten years or so.

Let me clarify: Many more in number. Not more talented, as in having more talented, more talented guitarists, meaning they are in strong number.
Y'all completely misunderstood. Had to clarify that.
I still think when you look at all the people who are Dylan related who will be there, Levon Helm, Larry Campbell, and his Son. Combined with the article about his new album collaborating with Willie Nelson and Jack White that it will be a Dylan Superjam. Predicted Lineup Levon Helm Drums Larry Campbell Guitar Jakob Dylan Guitar and Vocals Phil Lesh Bass Bob Dylan as himself Guest appearances Jack White Willie Nelson

Maybe a little more spice to the rumor of Levon Helm being central to the SuperJam, maybe not just with DBT per say, but them, Warren Hayes, and other revolving guests... The whole idea of calling his band "The Ramble on the Road" comes from the concept he talked about in the movie The Last Waltz: "After the finale, they'd have the midnight ramble... The songs would get a little bit juicier. The jokes would get a little funnier and the prettiest dancer would really get down and shake it a few times..." Sounds like a Roo superjam to me. But again, I'm just trying to stir things up in anticipation.
edit: how/ why does anyone think a Beatles Superjam would even happen anyways? I honestly dont want a themed superjam, i just want some jammin!!! ;D
right!! I dont get why anyone would want to see a bunch of covers especially only covers of one band. I mean u can catch a beatles covers band at almost any bar in any city at any given time. with all the greats that may or may not be on stage I wanna see them doing somethign fresh and exciting, some nasty improv.
