Awesome tour. They always do right by there fans. Busch Stadium show, three shows at The Greek!?
Anyway, they have shows on the 13th and 14th, but nothing after that till the 17th. With the assumption Jack is the Sunday headliner, this leaves open the possibility of Dave joining the show. I would assume that Jack Johnson is going to try and put on the best show he possibly can. I mean he's headlining Bonnaroo. Dave amongst other guests would make for a special show.

If not Dave, Jack is still going to have a ton of guests. He has to want to blow Bonnaroo away. Headliners, well the younger bands at least, always seem to take it to the next level when headlining 'Roo.

I'll admit, I was one of the Jack Johnson haters. I like him and all, but headlining Bonnaroo??? The more I think about the possibility of guests during his set though, the more I see this being not only a fun show, but possibly something great. The man seems to be friends with a ton of people, and has to be possibly the most laid back rock star ever.

also....sources over at antsmarching.org*, who have connections within the band's management, are saying tim reynolds will be joining the band in the studio this year. which will probably mean he'll be joining them on tour...

i don't necessarily see dave showing up. he'll be in the middle of a huge tour and even though there is a break, CT > TN > NY ?? It's like the Tom Petty/Steve Winwood thing, they have a gap between MA and NY but i doubt either will be at roo.
BUT, i'd rock out to a dave guest spot, unfortunately I just don't see it happening.

I will probably do the same thing that I have done for the past few years which is go to the Nissan Pavillion show and also the VA Beach one, that way I get to see Franti and Tim Reynolds

As much as i'd love this to happen, it just won't. Dave's not gonna leave after a show in CT on Saturday to fly to TN the next day and then back to NY the following day. It just isn't logical.
That aside, Tim Reynolds being confirmed on the new album is fucking sweet. Danny Barnes (guested during 07 tour on banjo) is also rumored to be sitting in (possibly on Cornbread?)

I'm only giving this any hope, and throwing it out there, based on the Hawaii shows they are playing together. Also, JJ has to put on a special show, or at least try to. I could see Dave and Tim both stopping by. Maybe an artist addition? As far as other guest possibilities, I'm not sure.
I would LOVE to see Dave stop by for Jack and I wouldn't rule it out based on the eastern tour dates- didn't Trey fly out after a roo set one night and back in two days later to play super jam one year? Dave hasn't been in 2? years and he loved Bonnaroo so my fingers are crossed my friends.
I'm gunna say Eddie will probably hop in with a ukulele for a Jack song or two, and the heavens will open! ;D
If I recall correctly, Trey played w/Oysterhead @ Bonnaroo on Friday, flew and played in St. Louis on Saturday, then flew back to Bonnaroo and played late night the same Saturday night. Am I remembering correctly?
are you kidding? there's no way in hell dave will waste his time to play a few songs w/ jack johnson. he's got 50+ tour dates to worry about. 100% will not happen
