He does a ton of songs with both Kanye and Talib Kweli and I wouldnt be at all suprised to see him on one of the upcoming additions list, both him and Common play with Lupe, Talib, and Kanye pretty often. The Roots are also coming out with a new CD in late April, I know they were there last year (I wasnt) did they play a good show? Did they look like they were having a good time, It would be amazing if they came back to do stuff off there new cd.
There are already 30 bands I want to see but if Common or The Roots got added there would be quite a few acts I would be willing to miss for them.
The Roots put on one of the best shows you could want to see, whether you're into rap or not. When I saw them, they played an 18 minute long cover of Bob Dylan's Masters of War. It was incredible. Not only that, but a live ?estlove vs Rhazel battle.
Mos Def would also be an unreal addition. A Blackstar show would make my weekend.
aside from masters of war...which was filled with the machine gun solo...they also played (i think) wu tang, push it (push it real good...i couldnt help myself), and roxanne....
that was one of the worst conflicts last year too...
