So all we know is that Chris Rock is doing an hour on the Which Stage at some point.
I say they put him on Thursday late evening (8-9), and his whole skit is a welcome to Bonnaroo and a bunch of jokes about the festival and the experience.
Then we kick off the Thursday late night so Friday/Saturday nights aren't as bad.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.

he's playing friday on the what stage, this was announced over a month ago, i'm just hoping his set is between the setup of someone else
ex. last year there were 3 bands that played friday on the what stage - kings of leon, the roots, and tool. i didn't go to roo in 06 but i know in 05 there were also 3 bands - alison krauss, allman bros, and dmb. and in 05 alison krauss started closer to 2, where as kings of leon this past year didn't start till around 3:45. if i'm not mistaken there was at least an hour, maybe an hour-and-a-half between sets. so what i'm saying is that i hope there is again 3 bands but i hope they throw chris rock in while they're setting up for metallica.
i'm hoping it looks something like this:
3-4:30 bluegrass allstars 5:30-7 willie nelson 7:30-8:30 chris rock 9-11 metallica
and i'm just guessing all this after studying the way the schedule has been all along. everyone's saying kanye west will be thursday which i think is possible but not likely. i have this weird feeling that kanye and chris rock may be performing right after one another, not because they're black, i'm not a racist by any means, but call me crazy, but i can hear in my head chris rock introducing kanye west or something. i'm sure they've met each other, i'm sure they like each other, they might be friends, once again, not because they're black but i just have this feeling that chris rock is a fan of kanye and kanye is a fan of chris rock.
however, i think willie nelson may be on the what stage and the raconteurs may be the closer on the which stage (let's say 6:30-8 - which i think is the time manu chao played last year - and i also say raconteurs on the which stage because thats the stage the white stripes played on last year in the closing spot, although i could see the raconteurs in the kings of leon spot)
final thought - the pre-headliner for metallica will either be willie nelson, the raconteurs, chris rock or kanye west

In response to natedogg...I really hope they don't put the raconteurs up against willie or chris rock, but yeah I could see that happening...if that's the case I'll probably end up missing some of willie, which is unfortunate but bound to happen sometime...until someone figures out how to be in two places at once (I'm working on it...)...but I'm fine with being at the back of the crowd for chris rock and metallica...makes it easier to get back to which stage for mmj...
oh and since this is a chris rock thread...anyone looking forward to him might want to avoid his article in the new rolling stone unless you want some of his new jokes spoiled for you...I made it 3 or 4 paragraphs in and realized I should probably stop there...
