i cant help it, i love lasers, and fire, and ridiculous theatrics. which shows this year do you think will have the best light shows / visual environments?
my morning jacket, and kanye's glow in the dark show are two that are obvious to me.

I'm looking forward most to MMJ and Kanye for light show/eye candy. I'm sure Umphrey's/Disco (if both late night) will have some nice lights and maybe a glow stick war or two. Maybe Metallica will have a good stage show but i'm not really craving them anyway.
This largely depends on who gets the late night show. Ghostland Observatory has great light shows although I'm not sure they'll get a late night slot...

I'm goin with Jack Johnson, although I don't have much of an interest to see the show. That's in reference to eye candy/ladies... If we're talking about lasers and stuff, I'll say Kanye or Sigur Ros.

after last year with tool and flaming lips i have an insatiable appetite for epic light shows. im just hoping someone can bring a pink floyd-esque light show back like tool.

Lead singer told me they were playing at 2 am. That could change, I'm sure, but it would be nice to have them be a late night

Is the MMJ show as cool as the Flaming lips were last year ? And yes Metallica does use LARGE ammounts of pyro but im not to sure they will at the roo cause of the tight schedule and the ammount of other artist using the stage and the safety issues that would pose. Tool deff blew my mind last year. I saw the in an arena a few months before roo so i knew what to expect, but it was even cooler outside !
Probably MSTRKRFT/Tiesto...they both had ridiculous light shows at Ultra, but then again, I might be a little spoiled! I'm definitely expecting it out of Tiesto though, his light shows are always good. Probably Kanye too, and Ghostland Observatory. We're probably in for a real treat as far as visuals go this year!
