Sorry if this has been discussed already. I just took a look at Neil Young's tour dates and there's nothing scheduled between May 20th and June 18th. I haven't seen his name thrown around much on here, so do you guys know something I don't?
Perhaps as the Artist in Residence with the obligatory sit-in during Pearl Jam's set? What do you guys think?
Yeah, I know its a long shot. But it happened in '03 with Neil, and last year we got John Paul Jones as an addition in May. I don't think Neil Young would be a true addition ie. I doubt he'll play his own set, but perhaps he'll fill the spot JPJ had last year and just sit in with a bunch of other artists.
It just seems so perfect since 'Roo is the weekend before his tour starts back up and Pearl Jam is headlining...

Excellent points. It certainly wouldn't be unprecedented.

It's hard to say, especially since he's collaborated with PJ before. Personally I'd rather they added someone else if they're going to add someone of that caliber.

^^I smell what you're cookin'! It will be cool if they have one more exciting add, though. Of course, there will always be surprises when we get there.
