has anyone heard anything about galactic or the north miss. allstars being added. galactic schedule is open the thursday friday and saturday. and there doing jazzfest which is put on by superfly, and with whole new orleans bonnaroo connection you would think they would be there.

Both were there last year, which may be an indication that they won't be there this year. Although I wouldn't mind - the Galactic show was off the hook last year and I missed NMAS b/c of one Jack White and his sister Meg.

I'd love to see NMAS come back, but they played last year, so it is unlikely - although they really did get screwed by getting put up against Jack White. However, I think its certainly possible that Luther Dickinson comes down to the farm for Robert Randolph's revival.

I love both those bands. Last year, I missed Galactic for the Super Jam (if I have my late nites right) and split time between NMA and the White Stripes. But if they haven't done anything new since they were there last year, I don't see a repeat performance. I also think that Luther may be focusing more on the Black Crowes than NMA right now. But getting NMA back with Robert Randolph and, oh, I don't know, maybe Medeski, would be a beautiful thing. Their 2005 (?) performance was jaw-dropping. No kidding. I spoke to one of the guys on the clean up crew and they were picking jaws up all over the place.

Actually It was Flips, Gvt Mule, Galactic I only had about half my hair left after Choosing Galactic.
You know I always expect these guys to show up...especially my boys in Galactic. Since they are a Superfly band it's usually a given which is one reason I find it weird they are not on the list.
^ I randomly went to a garage a trois show once and it ended up being garage a benevento and it was ridiculously awesome
I went to a Galactic show last year, Skeritt and two guys from SCI (The EOTO ones) were there with Papa Mali on vocals. the encore was announced as the Pan Galactic Gargle Incident
