This has probably been mentioned, but the Kings of Leon are touring with Pearl Jam in June for 4 nights, two before and two after Bonnaroo. They'd be an amazing add to the lineup. I just started listening to them and think they'd be an amazing show.

There's another thread about them on here somewhere but I can't find it at the moment...
Basically my thoughts on this are they played last year and were pretty much the only "bad" show i saw all weekend, in my opinion. A combination of faulty sound equipment, ignorance of the band for continuing to play even tho the entire crowd was shouting at them, and the fact that the only time I saw any of the band members actually move around was when they were switching equipment or leaving the stage.
Maybe they'd be better in a tent, but I really doubt they'd come back this year... I love their recorded stuff tho, I listen to it all the time

I haven't said anything to this point about KoL, because I know a lot of people like them . . . but I really hope they don't bring them back. I liked KoL's early stuff, but their last two albums are a total Meh for me. Aside from that, I agree with Strum, their show was bad last year. When I was filming with the History Channel they asked me if I wanted to meet KoL and I said, "No, I'm going to check out more music."
They were at 'roo last year, so that already makes them highly unlikely. Also, they are headliners for Glasto . . . although they aren't quite that big here, they would still probably be too big of an addition at this point.
[edit: I knew I was going to get smited for this . . . and I did.]
Now you just told me that friendship is all I'm forced to repair the breech in my wall Illusions and dreams, as usual, it seems Sabra girl, they've been my downfall
Or maybe if they didn't come off completely flat and unenthusiastic they would have rocked.
Exactly. I don't think I've ever seen a band take itself so seriously. Maybe the "Kangs" should focus a bit less on style and more on substance because their set was pretty weak.
