The Postelles, a four-piece, retro pop-rock band, have just been confirmed to be playing both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza in the span of 24 hours. It has been an exciting time for them, i assume, which befits an equally exciting band. Ive been listening to them for about a year and a half now, and I expect nothing short of great things from them. Check them out, and if you like it be sure to check out their set.
I hate to bump this thread, but i also think its worth mentioning that they just recorded a song with Albert Hammond Jr., that they will post up on myspace this monday.
I have been meaning to post this for a few days, but I have been forgetting. Anyways, I sent a message to their myspace page asking if they were really playing and said that the cafe acts were already announced. Here is the reply:
Hey Jay, Yeah we are playing one of the cafe stages or club lounge places. But Bonnaroo will be adding a lot of bands in the next few weeks, so we'll be in one of those announcements. see you there -daniel
