I'd like to hear PJ play this at Roo. I think their version of Baba kicks ass, and they obviously have permission from the Who to play and release it on their live releases.
I'd also love to see Ed take part in this year's Superjam.
there's no doubt in my mind they'll play it. they tend to play it a lot anyway, and 50,000 people singing the teenage wasteland part will be ridiculous.
2006 I saw Marah cover this on Thursday night. It was awesome. I am sure Pearl Jam playing it on the big stage would be incredibly awesome.
Karma for being like 1 of 200 people there. Marah tore the house down that night. And was it me or did no one know what song that was. Pearl Jam doing Baba would be awesome but honestly I would prefer them doing Sonic Reducer by the Dead Boys.
^^ I have seen Baba and Sonic Reducer and both are amazing.
Though, If I had to choose, Sonic Reducer over Baba. I saw PJ perform it at Raliegh during the Riot Act tour and it was awesome. Eddie got so into it he got down on his knees basically splits and was just howling out the lyrics with such rage and passion. Both songs would satisfy me though.

I thought most of the crowd was singing along. If I remember right it was a mid song segue.
I must have been on the wrong side then. The people around me were not even knowing what song this was... It was a segway. They keet doing it all tour.
