any fans out there....my girl and I got XM installed in her car and we love it. We rock out with 51 music Lab...Frank's Place (old Sinatra tunes sound so good sometimes) and of course 101 the cheeeeeziest reggae station ever!
My BF has XM at his house on the Delphi dealy with the red screen... But in his car he has an "XM ready" CD/radio deck and no tape player, but he can't get the receiver for it. Word is he has to wait for this new XM-Direct stuff to come out and for Sony to put an adapter out for it and...blah. It's been kinda disappointing...

So I heard Sirius has a jam band station is that true? I was thinking of getting Sirius because of that! If it is true why did you decide to get XM? Does XM have a jam band station?
Sirius just showed up on our sat. dish and I have been listening to the jam station for 2 solid days.. It's great! We live out in the mountains -- not much radio or tv reception except for the dish. This station is one that is worth keeping even if it ends up costing $
DubbyDov -- if you're in DC, as I am, you know that XM operates out of a warehouse at NY & FL aves; I took a tour last week of the studios -- the Frank's Place dj was a pal of Ol' Blue Eyes....
If there's only room for one satellite-based pay-station system: XM! (Rock + Roll![the names of the east & west coast satellites]). (It's been a good stock for me as well ;D)
