In light of Trey's announcement, my boyfriend and I have decided to attend the Coventry shows. Once we'd read the note on the Phish site, it was like well now we have no choice! Anyone else goin?
I felt the same exact way. Before reading the note on the website I had no intention of making a trek up north. However, now I have to go. I have to go and see the band that made some of the finest music ever. Plus, how could anyone want to pass up Fishman in a dress one last time?

im going for sure.. man this puts a damper on my summer job deer creek alpine and coventry..
im kinda sketched though because im going only to coventry with tix.. so now that they phish will be stopping EVERYONE AND THEIR MOM will wanna be their.. so the free and cheap tix are not gonna be easy.. oh well can't wait to see em!

Buying my tix friday after I get paid and the mula hits the bank. I dont think I have a ride for it, but I'll find a way. I haven't seen phish NEARLY enough times.
Yup, I'm just waiting for that paycheck to come to buy my ticket...and it feels like forever!!! After that, it's all about convincing at least one of my friends to come with me!
Is Providence a good airport to fly into and rent a car for the Phest? How long of a drive from RI to VT?
I'm not sure where you're coming from, but Coventry is pretty far up north. I'd try flying into Burlington (2 hrs)rather than Providence (4.5 hrs). Check out Jet Blue, I know that they have some dirt cheap prices into Burlington.

get those tixx b4 they run out because they will going like gooballs at bonnaroo and scalpin onthe net and otherwise is gonna b impossible with the amount those people will charge for a tixx

My boyfriend's 16 year old son asked me lastnight if I would take him to Coventry! He knows I have a good 20-some shows under my belt (hardly anything compared to some of the more dedicated phans), including Camp Oswego and Big Cypress.
The kicker is- he hasn't even seen Phish perform live yet! His first two shows will be at SPAC the weekend after Roo (thankfully we bought tix before the break-up announcement). If he decides he likes them, maybe I'll consider taking him to Coventry. Afterall, who am I to deny a youngster of Phish!? Especially when it's the last show. ;D
I just got my tickets. And now I am seriously broke. It'll be totally worth it. I really hope all my friends that are phans can go to. It will be such a bittersweet occasion

I know this is VERY premature, but if you end up arriving in Providence, do you think it is possible you could give me a ride? I'm going to be in Rhode Island all summer (without a car) up until Coventry and as of now, no one I know is going to Vermont.
