With 18 days left and a first time roo'er To say the least I'm excited. I am riding a greyhound down and walking to bonnaroo. I hear alot about the bad traffic I was wondering since I'm walking if I get to walk past all of this? or wait in line with the cars (lol that sounds a bit funny) anyway if anyone knows the awncer it would be greatly appreciated.
Also if anyone has used the greyhound bus and gotten off at Manchester do you get back on the bus at the same stop to go home?

Oh yes, you will be able to walk past all the traffric, right up to the entrance. Last time I was sitting in 8 hours of traffic and I was snarling at all the people walking in past us. :-)
You shouldn't have any problem walking right up there. I've never taken the Greyhound though.

Do you have to go through any security if you walk through? I know it says on the info guide that you can avoid all the security for the cars, but is there still some security?
I saw them give a flip through the backpacks of some pedestrians who were scooting past us last year. That said, it looked really casual and chit-chatty, much like the security checks on vehicles.

Well if, god forbid, i theoeretically had something that I would not want security to find, would you say its any safer to walk through as opopsed to driving?
That's a tough call. If you're in a vehicle, you may get a longer look, but you can bury whatever you have much deeper. Yet if you're on foot, you're probably going to get a shorter look, but your hiding spots are limited. I dunno man, I really don't think there's a "right" way to go about it. Whichever way you go, just be careful, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'll probably just walk around with a big sign that says "I dont have anything illegal on me" cuz then they wont have to search me, they'd already know i've got nothing on me.

i think it all depends on how much of the illegal things you plan to bring in. if you had, say, a quarter of pot in the bottom of your backpack, you'd be fine, but if you're trying to sneak in pounds of mushrooms, i'd say they'd notice that in your bag
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
