Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've been here a couple of times and I'm proud to see this venue gathering some big acts. This place is real cool and the people who own it are real cool. It's only $75 and has some big acts.
Kleb DON"T BUY THAT TICKET YET!!! If you're going to see SCI, they aren't going to be there because they are concerned about thier fans' safety. Go to thier SCI website & see.
Here is another one I found in Indiana. Cheap and looks like a good time.
FLUFFY!
Any idea how big of a crowd they're expecting for this...or how many tickets are being sold? I putzed around the site, and couldn't find any numbers. It's doubtful I'll be able to attend, but just in case I'd like to have an idea.

This looks so fantastic and cheap! I'm really curious what the attendance will be as well.

I don't know much about the numbers, but I can tell you all about the area that the Hippy Hill Hoodang will be in... it's in southern IN, very close to Nashville, which is a beautiful little town. Lots of small shops (unfortunately very expensive for the most part) and TONS of camping in the area. If you take 46 to get there, be careful driving - it's got some crazy hills and twists.
I'm definitely going to this along with my hubby and one of his friends, and trying to get a bunch of our other friends to go as well. Since I missed the meet-ups at roo, I'd love to meet some of you there!

Fluff, thanks for the buzz about the 'Dang. I emailed the Hippy Hill Hoodang crew with a few questions of my own, cuz it seems really fun and is close to my home (Indy). Here are the answers:
"This is the First Ever Hippy Hill Hoodang!. We are expecting a sell out crowd of 10,000 ppl. Camping- (we are updating the website to cover all details by tomorrow as well as adding a toll free ticket line) All ticket purchase include primative camping, the longest possible walk from car to site is 5-10 min. We are going to offer shuttles as well. We are encouraging everyone to get there early to grab the site they want. "
Here's part of the line-up -- looks good.
Umphrey's McGee, Leftover Salmon, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Codetalkers, MOFRO, the Zen Tricksters and Brothers Past, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, New Monsoon, Addison Groove Project, RAQ, Greyhounds and Snake Oil Medicine Show.
I want to go to this it looks like a blast, I'm trying to talk my older brother into coming with me (you know some quality brother time) He has never been to a festival and is kinda skeptical, hopefully I can convince him to come...........

Hey Fluffyhead. You metioned thatyou've been to Sunshine Daydreams before. What are the facilities like?
The last time I was there was November 2001. Both times I was there it was real cold and there were probally about 300-400 people max. It was to cold to have the shows outside so they have this giant barn with a stage, bar, and upstairs. People there are extremely friendly, and I think the owner of the place used to hang with the Dead. I believe there are a few cabins there that you can rent also. They have got a lot more notice and expanded a lot since I've been there. When I was there there were only 7 or 8 Port-O-Pots, but I guarentee it is a lot better now.
I was at Sunshine Daydream for the All-Good fest in O2. All it did was rain, it was sleeting by the end of it. It was still a really good time. It's a really chill scene there. I wish I could go to Jerry's B-day bash or All-Good this year, but alas Coventry calls and I haven't the money for all this good stuff.

Danbird, No ill intent but I believe All Good is at Marvin's Mountaintop not Sunshine, but they are both pretty close to each other.
You're right about that -- All Good is held in Masontown & Sunshine Daydream is located in Terra Alta. I know because I'm from Preston County, WV -- home of both these great venues.
Hope to see you all in the Mountain State sometime. It's beautiful here & we love some good music. Peace ya'll.
Just to let you know, All-Good used to be at Sunshine Daydream every year. The year I was there was the last year they held it there cause of all the rain and mud, it made it really difficult for some to get out. Sunshine Daydream is the place with the barn, correct? I know it was held there cause everyone was joking that sunshine is just a daydream when your there. I think they moved the time of year it's held also because of the shitty weather of years past. Not to start a argument or anything.
