So, as some of you may know, I'm not going to Bonnaroo this year, because of my cousins wedding in Cali. that I must attend. First I'm flying to Seattle to visit a high school buddy of mine for the weekend. I'm then flying to LA, renting a car and driving to Vegas, to stay there for 2 nights, before I head back for the wedding. I've been on the look out for shows in Seattle, Vegas, or LA whilst I'm there. I just found some tonight Gang of Four is gonna be in Seattle at the Showbox while I'm there, and then the 2 nights following......Bright Eyes!!!! SH!T YEAH!!!! It's great cause he isn't playing Philly this tour. THEN. George Clinton and Parliment Funkadelic are gonna be at the House of Blues the last night my friend and I are in Vegas. How f*cking sweet is that. Sorry I'm a little drunk, and a bit more excited. Now all I need is a good jam band show in San Fran. and I can die happy. I (heart) music. ;D
Don't cry for me I'm really not that upset that I'll be missing the Roo. There's always next year. Most of the bands that I'd really want to catch there, this year, I'll be able to see on thier summer tours. Don't get me wrong, the Roo is great. But if you get a chance to do something else, that you've wanted to do for a REALLY long time, the Roo just might have to fall by the wayside.
