I was thumbing through my history textbook yesterday and saw the coolest thing. The sentence reads, "Americans annually made some 300 million visits to museums in the 1990s...(blah blah blah)...patronized fifteen hundred symphony orchestras---as well as countless popular music groups, including the inventive performers known as Phish and the long-lived sixties survivors the Grateful Dead." I just thought it was neat that they were mentioned. Makes me kinda wish I'd been reading the textbook the whole school year.
