In the past, we've spent a lot of time between sets in the cinema tent or just laying around; this year we are bringing travel scrabble and yatzhee....anyone have anything in particular they like to do in their roo downtime?

Sleep really is a hindrance at the Roo. I always feel like if I'm sleeping, I'm almost certainly missing something really cool. In '04, it was wet and rainy and I was so far gone that I fell asleep in my tent during The Dead. Still regret it to this day. I will be bringing as much Red Bull as I can get my hands on this year to counteract this unfortunate ailment we call sleep.
It's that the time between 4 and 8am that neither has heat or music? I call that time sleepy time. I really thinking about not bringing any camping stuff just water and beer and sleeping in centerroo. Find a nice tent after the music stops and sleep there.

Thats a great idea, this year I am sleeping in the movie tent more.
Haven't had much downtime yet. If I do I tend to eat anything i can find as I get hungry.
Yeah, I spent the night in a port-a-potty last year! I also passed out for about 5 hours on Thursday evening last year and missed all those shows. Of course this was following some poor decisions as to how much to drink...and...smoke.

you spent the night in a porta pot? NASTY!! Those fumes are enough to make you pass out in one. Thank god for the free rag they give out at the internet tent, that made a good poo mask
