How is everyone doing that is in enduring this blizzard on the east coast? What is everyone going to do today? I guess I am just going to sit here and be on the comp most of the day..again. I already had 3 days off because of my b-day, not like I need another.Maybe I will put a dvd on. who knows.
I'm so jealous; we have about 1/16th of an inch of snow in Knoxville, and that's only on trees and the deck (there is basically nothing left on the ground)! It's been maybe 4 years since we had a good, decent snow; and the last time we had anything remotely blizzard-like was 1993!!! *sigh* I miss snow!

Ugh. '93. I remember '93 well. My family and I were living in a cabin deep in the woods outside of Cullowhee, NC, and it dropped like three and a half feet on us. We were stuck in our cabin for about a day until we pushed the door open, and even then, we couldn't get out to the main road for another ten days.
Those were fun times. Chickens carving tunnels through the snow, etc. etc.
Right now? Six inches in Boone, NC. Nothing serious.
I'm not sure how much we got here in C-ville, PA but it's definately over a foot. I spent yesterday at my friends place, cause I didn't want to get stuck here at my house. I got up and walked to the Dunkin Donuts, a few blocks away, when it was coming down at it worst. That was fun. I felt like one of those guys, lost in the frozen tundra, trying not to die of frostbite, only I was just trying to bite into some frosty donut holes
