I love me some Sigur Ros and am going to see them at the Louisville Palace this Friday, and I have 2 questions for this fine population. First, is anyone going to this show? Second to anyone who has seen them before, what should I expect from them in concert? So far I can't figure out what they'll be like live (of course, that is part of the fun).
Expect magic... really, while I don't know about the set up for this tour or anything ( I saw them a couple of years ago here in Toronto, Canada), I was amazed. It was so moving that the skeptical friend I forced to accompany me, even had to admit that he was emotionally caught up in the music.

I must say that the show was indeed one of the coolest things I've seen. It was nothing like I'd ever seen before. Plus the venue, the Louisville Palace may be the coolest venue I've ever been to. Everyone should try to catch a show there at some point.
