I work in the legal department for a large oil and gas exploration and production company in Downtown Oklahoma City. I really love my job - no complaints where work is concerned.
Home - I have a cool studio apartment 4 minutes from work. I live with my two cats, Bob & Jett. My best friend (if she registers on here her name will be GoingLoopy) lives in the same apartment building. She and I will be going to the Roo together again this year ... AND WE CAN'T WAIT!
I'm 25, work for Robert Half International (worldwide staffing), live in Memphis, TN w/ my boyfriend of 9 years, two cats and two dogs. I spend most of my time working and hanging out with my guy, goofing off and shooting the s*#%. VERY laid back. We're going w/ my best friend who's just as excited as us, so I'm pretty sure we're all going to be down right foolish when we finally arrive at those gates.....

I'm a 27 year old former U.S. Marine who is now an independent consultant in the non-profit sector working with foundations helping them with records, IT, and administrative tranisitions. Yes, its as boring as it sounds, but I have done some great networking and was able to use those connections to get me into the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy for graduate school at the University of Michigan and get it all for free.
As for the home life, I live alone in a one bedroom apartment in tiny complex in a boringly quiet suburb of Detroit.
Wow, all of you are like real people; I'm just a college student. I'm in my Sophmore year at Ithaca College, double major: politics and philosophy. My home is in Maryland; Harford County to be specific (you would swear you were in Montana though). This will be bonnaroo number two for me, and it seems like all I do these days is find things to pass the time until June.
Hey jerkface, do you actually live in Baltimore or somewhere nearby?

I manage a video store which takes up alot of time and pays the bills. I live in a good neighborhood in Louisville, KY and actually get to walk to work, which I love. Lived in Austin the last couple years with my ex, just relaxing on my free time these days
And yes, I am a Tigers fan....13 losing seasons in a row and counting....I guess it's a character builder, and at least I've got the Pistons!
Got that right!! Pistons are goin all the way this year ;D I myself am a student...I guess...I don't go to class too much...I really hate school. I want to be my own boss...someday hopefully open a resturant. I've worked in the resturant business since I was 14. Recently I've been thinking of starting my own web design business on the side...don't know where thats going at this moment. I don't know where I'm goin.....I wanna move back to MI but I don't know when. I smoke a lotta herb...listen to a ton of tunes...play a lil guitar...visit with my friends in Michigan..watch Pistons games...hang out on the lakes in the summer.. and work..haha well I just quit my job today...but hopefully I'll be workin again next week. Thats me Woo!
until i broke my leg I worked for an ICFMR (intermediate care facility for mental retardation) basically I worked with clients that had mental retardation and another diagnosis, or more. taught them life skills worked on behavior management, nursing concerns and so on. I was a manager and a trainer for that company and the all around handy man i just started working for EDS doing customer service for proactiv skin care-pretty boring stuff i have less than a year to go to school to get a BA in one of 8 different majors, i started college when i was 16 and had no idea what i was doing so i change my major frequently i finally decided to retire from that when i was 20 until i figured out what i wanted to do I plan to go back to school for one semester to get my BA in social work so that I can become a QMRP qualified mental retardation professional so that i can run a group home- i love that field of work but will not be physically able to go back to it for a few years, getting beat up by a client and accidentally re-breaking my leg would most likely lead to amputation, they were barely able to save it this go around!
I do "freelance" work. Lately (last three years) Production management for documentary work and films. I also volunteer a lot. I really don't know what I want to do 'when i grow up'. Maybe I'll just stay at kid.
I living in my own home that I just bought in November. I separated from my girlfriend of 17 years a year ago in February. No pets, travel too much.
Another fulltime student reporting in. Right now a freshman at Elon University in Elon,NC. Majoring in Psycology and mayhap a minor in math (namely statistics). Hopefully a fun and fulfilling future and career ahead of me and lifelong ability to head to Roo.
Bummer....do less homework...all work and no play makes jack a dull boy;) Kidding about the homework thing...sorta..maybe.
It's only for about 65 more days... AND THEN GRADUATION! ...AND THEN ROOOOO!!!!!
oh hell ya! didn't know you were graduatin! what a great way to kick it off with roo...then definatly chill on the homework! im sure you have already gotten accepted to colleges(if you are going) right?

I work at a weight loss company (not going to say which one) full-time. Also do part-time at a real estate company (webuyuglyhomes.com) doing paper work and misc jobs ($12 an hour). I also go to college full-time to get my BA in Elementary Education. I also volunteer with a therapy group that provides horse back riding lessons to children with mental and physical disabilites.
Wow....it never seemed like that much until now.
Oh and I also do medical trials every now and then for spare cash. Right now I'm getting $450 a year for trying out a new birth control (which is sweet because it was costing me $35 a month).
I live alone in a 1 br with my cat, Gemini (I'll turn into a crazy cat lady at some point). Roommates have never worked out and I prefer to be able to walk around naked whenever I please.
Missouri <NOW> Summer Camp in Chillicothe, IL <May 21-25> Lawrence, KS <May 26-> Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN <June> JamBaLoosa in Pittsburgh, PA <> Rothbury or RhythmFest in OH <> All Good <>

I work at Park City Mountain Resort, rated #5 in the US this year. It has the largest half pipe in the US, 22 feet people. I sit in the call center which is a tiny room with no windows 9 hours a day 5 days a week, but I do get a free pass and free passes to give away so its all worth it to me! The mountain is closing on the 16th so I will be a bum untill roo.
mrjerkface- I just moved from nap town like 6 months ago, I had a friend from severna park tell me that pasadena has the longest dead end road in america, is this true?

Don't feel bad HappyBunny - I'm a "Product Strategy Analyst." I've only been doing it for 4 months, and I'm still learning a TON of SQL & SAS coding, which I think could really get me paid down the road. I can foresee this job getting old in the future, though.

SQL and SAS skillz will absolutely make you a butt-load of dough, but you could possibly die of boredom before you have a chance to spend it.

I run a small-business software company with my father. I used to be able to call it my day-job, but I got out of the band thing after about five years. Not sure what the future holds...
I live in the best neighborhood in the best city in the world with my amazing wife.

Nice job. 22 feet geez! I think Mammoth's big pipe is 19 and that's plenty big for me. I like to boost massive 2 foot airs outta that thing... ha ha
So you ever see Tanner Hall and Pep Fujas killin it around there? They moved from Mammoth to PC a couple yrs back I think...
