I run a small-business software company with my father. I used to be able to call it my day-job, but I got out of the band thing after about five years. Not sure what the future holds...
I live in the best neighborhood in the best city in the world with my amazing wife.
What neighborhood ya in?
Wicker Park (technically my address is just southeast of Wicker Park). I've lived three different places in the general area since '98. There's no place I'd rather live.
I just got out of the Marine Corps after about 6 years last year and recently started an apprenticeship with the Electricians Union in Philadelphia. Other than that, I'm a part time student working on my degree in electrical engineering and a "struggling musician." I share a two bedroom apartment with a friend of mine in a Philly suburb just outside the city limits.

I'm 21 so ya know. I don't do much 'cept drink.
Work - For my dad's HVAC company. I'm the office manager. I pretty much just sit in the office all day by myself, occassionally doing work and mostly playing games or reading stupid stuff online.
Home - Live at home with my parents still. I have freedom and the house is sweet, so it's so bad. It's not awesome though either, heh. Hopefully after 'roo I'll be able to move out with my boyfriend.
I work for a bank in Knoxville Tennessee. Officially I run one of those computer systems that calls you as soon as you sit down to have supper, then asks you please wait for the next agent. Anyway, I can sleep at night cause my call center does collections not telemarketing. Have the greatest wife in the world (no offense to all the other wifes out there) and a step sone who is 8 (and knows everything!!! Didn't we all!) and a Rat Terrier named Deuce.

Kampy- Ya I see Tanner Hall all over the place. He has actually lived here I believe all his life, if not then most of it. We are the same age. I remember that kid from Middle school. He actually went to a the Winter school which is a system we have out here in Utah that alows future skiier/SBers pros to have the winter off instead of summer. But Tanner throws down for sure, seen him at alot of partys. ALso Glen Plake came to the pipe this year, that was awesome. Hes got the greatest attitude and rocked my socks off this year in the new Warren Miller. As far as SBs go, shaun white is here often enough and Marc Frank Montoya (my future husband) is known to be here tho I havent seen him yet.

very cool! The Tan Man is the sh it... even with the gangsta attitude. I think he's matured a lot in the past couple of years. Rumor has it that he even gave up the chronic? can you confirm that? I can't imagine the defacto leader of the Chronic Crew giving up the herb for good...
and Glen Plake! I love that guy. I skied a little bit with him at Mammoth last 4th of July, but I couldn't even keep up with him. he still rips. and still rocks the long straight skis sometimes!

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." - H. L. Mencken

For the last two and a half years I worked as a Dietary Aide(which is just a fancy word for dishwasher) at a nursing home in Kettering, OH. As of two days ago though, I am now a Floor Tech(which is just a fancy word for a custodian). I know it isn't the greatest job in the world, but I have fun doing it and love talking to the residents.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
hi guys my name is brian and im an alcohalic.....now that thats out of the way im a cook. i cook for three different joints a brew-pub and two la-di-da places also im a free-lance shoe finder....god where are my buisness cards when i need them...
I am a bartender who knows wine well, so i work at the snootier joints in washington dc, I can make any wine sound like liquid gold, i spent a year and a half on the wagon and noone knew, and am not really that big of a fan of wine, but that crowd beats the cosmo or beer drunks, they at least try to act classy.

Precisely. I'm taking this to the favorite snack thread, but good lord I love La Pasadita.

Theres a lot of chi-town kids at inforoo! And yes, im calling all of you folks with fancy-soundin, high payin jobs kids! i work at Borders books and multi-media in wilmette, a burb oustside of chicago. Its retail, but there are lots of perks. Alas the pay is not one of the perks. However, being surrounded by books cds and movies with a 33% discount, and meeting/workling with lots of cool people almost make up for my bi-weekly pittance. I help people find books and stuff, and sometimes work the registers. Unfortunately im twenty five and need to find a job i can live off of soon.....or go back to school. Ill just sell some bone-marrow and travel the globe instead!
I am a social worker for people with HIV at a NYC hospital. Live with my boyfriend of 8 yrs (he's on the board but i won't out him) and our kitty Fiona in a brooklyn apt for which we pay too much rent. i want to have a house and some grass and trees dammit! ah well, at least new york's got some cool concerts and stuff to do.
I am the assistant manager/QMRP for a Non-profit that runs a series of group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. I live in Upstate NY with my girlfriend of 5 years and enjoy the fact that there are lots of vineyards near by. Free wine is always a good thing.

I am currently a 5th year senior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and in less than a month, I will have my Bachelor's in International Studies (focusing on US Foreign Policy). While going to school full-time, I am also a Groundskeeper at a golf course ;D, and I am also a Part-Time retail manager at a store that sells lots of smelly lotions.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what I'm gonna do with my degree once I graduate, but Bonnaroo is a must!
just out of curiosity on the differences in pay from state to state what do the direct care staff make in NY hobbes...in idaho $7.50 is the standard wage, i was only makein 9$ to be a trainer and a manager. I finally got good enough at walking to work at the group home part time but just as a DCS after, 2 1/2 yrs with that co it is only $8/hr

Yea - it's really kind of nuts. Bukem especially would fit in well at 'Roo (saw him in a tiny venue in Charleston w/ quadrophonic sound - on the tour he did w/ Makato opening & MC Conrad on the mic).
I have heard kids spinning it in the campgrounds super late at night, but I never had the energy to track it down at that point.
