That's the definition of "stealing one". To get by Thome and Konerko and then get burned by Cintron (because Uribe's wife happened to go into labor)? Yowch. The Tiger's bullpen is nasty and it could be a huge confidence boost down the line to know that the Sox can get to them.

Rubber match today in a big series with the White Sox. Detroit has an absolutely brutal schedule coming up, but even if they just go .500 the rest of the way that still gives them 97 wins! What an amazing season so far.
Hey at least we win the home run derby. YEAH!!! All that hard work, those new hires, trades, and signings are all paying off, cause we win the derby. It's the only thing we Philly phans have to hang our hats on.

i agree..the home run derby crown is sooooo much better than making the playoffs more than once every 20 years,. i mean, who needs baseball in the fall anyway?..thats football season.

So yeah, Phillies beat ATL. Tied for second, only 13 games back Damn those Mets and thier stacked team. I guess there's hope for a wild card. We just gotta pray that the 7 teams ahead of us suck a big one down the stretch. Yeah that's not gonna happen.
Danbird...sorry for more bad news, Atlanta wins the last two of the series against Philly, so Atlanta is now 4.5 games out of the wild card race. I do agree about thos da*m Mets..its gonna be tough for any team to catch them!

go cubbies they are the clowns of the mlb, how could you not like to watch them?? aside my two childhood teams oakland and the tigers are stomping ass all over, hooray. the sox have nothing on detroit this year, poor guys
