Good Lord has anyone seen this lineup! Go check it out. The big names are Kanye West, Wilco, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Flaming Lips, Disco Biscuits, Queens Of The Stone Age, Ryan Adams, and about 120 more bands. I love Bonnaroo, but if I couldn't be there in June, I'd be heading to Chicago in August. Alot of Bonnaroo bands will be there, and the bands that aren't going to be at Bonnaroo kick a$$. The smoking popes for one.
As far as I see it the one thing Bonnaroo has that Lollapalooza doesn't, that would completely sway me towards the Roo, is Oysterhead. Then maybe Radiohead.
The correct answer is the big name is Manu Chao. And I, for one, would like to know how the hell they got him. Perhaps he's become more open to the possibility of doing American festivals...
