Located in Centeroo, Planet Roo will feature information booths on renewable and alternative energy, environmental issues, voter registration, and an array of charitable causes. Natural products like fruit juices, smoothies, candles, and organic soaps will be on hand for sample or purchase. The Planet Roo stage will host a variety of interesting activities throughout the weekend, including dance and yoga instruction, and demonstrations on candle making, soap making, glass blowing, and hemp creations. Yeah, I've always been intrigued by yoga practice at 'Roo, but I think I need to conserve my time/energy for music when I'm there. I've been 100% successful with my new year's resolution to do two yoga sessions (20-40 min.) per day (weekdays only), but I've been targeting Bonnaroo thursday as the first weekday I make an exception all year. This announcement pretty much seems like a marketing deal with a company. Keep that kind of business to small alternative-lifestyle type businesses and I'll be fine with it.
