Has anyone ever been to Hookahville? Tickets are reasonable, was wondering what the vibe is like? Is it kid friendly? The wife and I were debating going and taking the kid.

never been to hookahville but I am from Ohio and have been to some festivals at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park and the vibe was always great. I'm sure it will be a great time with the original ekoostik hookah back together and Yonder and Blues Traveler playing along with a bunch of great bands that arent as well known

Oh yea and to answer your question about the kid. The festival I attended last year at Nelson Ledges, included STS9, Rusted Root, David Grisman, Tea Leaf Green, Wookie Foot, and a buncha other great acts. They were very 'kid' friendly. They even had a special runway across the front of the stage where kids could go up close to the band and dance around. There were a lot of people with their kids there. I would expect the same thing at all of the Ohio festivals, very family oriented state. You can always expect to see the drugs and alcohol at any festival though, so if you are trying to shelter your child from these things I wouldnt take him to any festival.
