Teams like the Yankees makes me wish there was a salerey cap. I don't have a favorite, but I have a hard time going for a team that spends as much money as the Yanks..just can't relate to it.
Being a Yankee fan is like rooting for the casino in blackjack.
Thats hilarious. however a team like the yanks is like a family, especially in new york where there is another team. I grew up a yankee fan and it hasnt always been easy I was only 4 in 1986 but I remember all those met fans rubbing it in our collective faces. Even now, I live in queens with mets fans everywhere but I gotta stay loyal to my yankees.

It really bugs me that people think that way, if you were brought up with the yankees, knowing everything about the team, I dont think you would feel such hate..its just the team that I love. Even if they had a shitty lineup and no money I would still love them

Kinda like the Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers. I know what you're saying, but being from Philly, and not having a championship team since 83 or whatever, I feel great disdain for teams that win championships all the time. Plus it's hard to know who the bandwagon jumpers are. "Like, hey, I like Duke, The Braves, Yankees, Lakers, Pistons, Patriots, and anyone else who's won numerous championships. And that team that's gonna win this year, I like them too." There's just alot of people out there like that. I like the underdogs, which you pretty much have to if you're from Philly.

word i can understand that. I am definately not a bandwagon fan. the only thing i bandwagon is for the olympics lol its all love, and i love how the boards change sh*t to nuts.
