i was really angry with daves 04 show....i thought it was short and not so good....and i was blown away by his 05 performance...one of the best shows i have ever seen! but after this years roo i downloaded the 04 and 05 shows and on cd i must admit i think i like the 04 better....i dont understand why i didnt dig the show while i was at it... but now it is one of my favorite and most played shows....i didnt think there were any sound issues in 04 or anyhting, i was just dissapointed after the show(as were all the people in my group).... anyonelse have this experience????
I thought the '04 show was pretty good. I liked the few acoustic songs he and Trey played. It really got the crowd into it. I thought the '05 show was pretty good too. For both shows though I was in the back just spacing out on a blanket so I wasn't giving them my full attention. Overall I thought both were enjoyable but pretty mediocre. I guess I'm a bit biased though cuz I've never been a big Dave fan. I enjoy some of his shows but I don't think he's ever gonna blow me away.
