I was sitting here listening to an LA radio station via the net while sitting here in TN, and started thinking, what's your local music scene like?
What kind of radio stations do you have? What are your town's best bands? Best DJ's? Best programs? Venues? And where can we check them out?
I live in Memphis and we have a strong indie scene. Best venues I think are The Young Ave Deli and the Hi-Tone. Not much to choose from w/ the radio stations, but WEVL 89.9 is def the best. Volunteer radio, ya'll.

Best bands/artists - Harlan T. Bobo, Lucero, and North Mississippi Allstars
