Talented or not and the amount of energy he brings to a show or not, I feel he was too drunk/f*cked up/disorderly on stage at times and that can be disrespectful to the fans that paid to come and see you and then you pass out on stage.

But they're my favorite local band...and Billy's a pretty nice guy when you meet him (although I would imagine he can be a prick to work with/for...kinda like most people).

1.Of all the bands & artists in your collection, which one do you own the most albums by? The Beatles, by far, with about 75. Lots of boots, obviously.
2. What was the last song you listened to? a acoustic version of The Flaming Lips' "Waitin For A Superman".
3. What's in your record player right now? From the End Of Your Leash from Bobby Bare Jr. I picked it up a couple days ago in preparation for Roo.
4. What's your favorite instrument? trombone
5. What's your favorite local band? There's nothing around here in Peoria, other than terrible '80s cover bands.
6. What was the last show you attended? I saw David Gilmour in Chicago a couple weeks ago.
7. What was the greatest show you've ever been to? Radiohead at Hutchinson Field/Grant Park Chicago. August 1, 2001.
8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert? Incubus I think it was. I only went because The Vines were supposed to open for them, but they pulled out. Sparta replaced them, so at least that wasn't a total loss.
9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of? Oasis, definitely.
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been? I played trombone all through college, playing everything from jazz to funk to symphonic and orchestral

14. What musician would you like to be in love with you for a day? I would say Jessica Simpson, but she doesn't have enough talent to be called a musician, and after she opened her mouth and spoke, I'd have to leave. So, let's go with Jenny Lewis.
15. What was your last musical "phase" before you wized up? Before I discovered classic rock around 1992, I was listening to a lot of terrible rap and top 40 stuff. When you're 12, "Whoomp There It Is" isn't nearly as annoying as it is now.

18. What was the greatest decade for music? without a doubt, the 60s. But I really think we're in another era of great music. Too bad it's also surrounded by tons of crap.

5. Favorite local band? The Violent Femmes (Milwaukee doesn't have too many options. The BoDeans? yuck.)

7. What's the greatest show you've ever been to? Trey Anastasio - Chicago, 6/5/03 or IT
8. What's the worst band you've ever seen in concert? This is really bad... I saw Vanilla Ice in concert, when he went "hard rock." (gimme a break, I was 15 at the time)
9. What band do I love musically but hate the members of? Neil Young. He's made some unbeliveably awesome music over the years, but has made many bad moves. (Supporting Reagan in the 80's sticks out). I would say U2, but I haven't like their recent music.
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been? I played the bassoon when I was in junior high, some drunken karaoke and I play guitar now (but not very well).
11. What show are you looking forward to? Pearl Jam & Tom Petty @ Summerfest. Roo 05 - The Streets, MMW, Soulive, The Motet.
